HARD AS F*CK #3 ride

Last week Timpo, RickA and I attempted a recce run for the 3rd Hard as F*ck trail ride which took place this weekend.

We were turned back on several trails so returned to the pub exhausted

I was only able to make the Saturday ride led by Timpo and am currently nursing lot os aches and pains so fair do's to the lads who were out again today.

The thaw did reduce much of the snow but it was still there on saturday

No need for any text, I'll just put some photos up to show why this trail ride is known as the 'HARD AS F*CK!'

This got steep and the exposed tree roots didn't help fter a few bikes had struggled up.

It was far more fun than it looks.
That's if you don't count getting stuck in snowdrifts, riding on sheet ice with ruts in, trying to get up hills that you have only ever ridden down before (without 6" of snow!), finding black ice on your chosen line, slush on top of ice, having little or no control over where your bike goes, etc, etc....










When can we do it again!
