...Is there any smart/quick way of identifying which folders are using up most of my hard drive on my laptop.

...I only have a couple of Gig left but can only account for half of it being used....???

I regularly run the disk clean and defrag monthly.....

Open up Windows explorer.

You should see your C: drive.

Left click the '+' sign to expand it and you should get a list of top level folders.

Right click a folder and you should get a pop-up box and one of the items on there is 'Properties'. Left click that and it will give you the number of files and the total size.

Check your top-level folders, then expand the greedy ones to find the guilty parties.

Hope that helps.

Go start and search > for files and folders
now > all files and folders
now > what sizie is it
now > specify size
type 10000 in the box
that will show them for you

the biggest will probably be the pagefile which you cant delete.
the otheres ? up to you whether to delete or not
