Like the way you have the camera mounted R R :thumb2

I have taken a 12v supply from the plug under the seat, just to the rear of the tank, not campus, and fed a 12v accessory unit comprising of two usb outlets and two cigar outlets and run lead to camera which as a result is always live with ignition switched on. No problems running camera and charging lead for the accessories/phone whilst on the go.

I just use a pedco bracket on my upper crash bar and power from the din socket when running a camera on the bike.

Got my Mounts and it is all attached now. Just waiting for my wiring to come from China. Using GS GoPro mount with a ¼" threaded adaptor.

Do you have a list of components for your mount and a photo of how you fix it to the bike? TIA

Looks tidy! I use the 1/4" thread too but on a RAM.
I'd change to your version if it's tidier though!
What Go Pro mount did you use?
TIA

Yes please give us a breakdown of the parts you used - looks excellent !!

Have same camera and mounted similarly running off the front power socket.
Want to mount a second drift to the rear: how best (and easiest way) to permanently hardwire to battery but to only record when engine running

The power bank will also suppress any spikes from the bikes electrical system & maintains power even whilst starter is engaged..

Enjoy..

IMHO, this may be the better option. I believe, from experience, that a power spike does mess with the internals. I had a Ghost HD 'die' on me after a ride out with the camera attached to the power outlet on my 2014 GSA. Had to buy a new one and will not be making the same mistake again.

FWIW, i had run this camera on the helmet in all weather with the mic attached and no issue with water getting in.

On a separate point though, a friend of mine has designed and 3D printed a replacement back for the Drift Stealth so that access can be made for the power cable.... works a treat. :bow
