Selling my Harley Davidson, FLHRI, Road King, 1450cc, mileage 30.000, date of first registration is 01.01.2002. Imported from the US on 23.10.2017. Mot’d until 05.03.2026
I will be booking it in next week so will come with a fresh mot .
Existing mot has no advisory’s .
Last serviced 03.09.2025. I have attached a copy of the receipt for details.
Overall it’s in good condition, I purchased it in September 2024 from Steve Bateman in Ringwood , I have added the screen as it came without one and I have had a pair of baffles made as it was so loud . Sounded great but was so loud it would set off car alarm's. It now sounds
Loud enough without being so intrusive.
Also comes with rear back rest . I only have the history that I was given with the bike I will attach a copy of the sales ad
For more details. Price £5.500.00
Cheers

Forgot to mention that is doesn’t have an alarm fitted. Personally I think that’s a good thing as Harley alarms are annoying.

Nice … I have a 2000 Classic, great bikes GLWTS

I have a Classic (1999) with the same motor, also imported from the States. It's the third twin cam I've had and never had a scrap of trouble.
This looks like a well cared for bike and importantly has had the cam chain tensioner renewed. A lot of bike for little money which will take you anywhere.
FWIW, I love the chromed engine, headlight and pipes etc on these older more classic looking HD's, than the new blacked out stuff they're producing these days.

Nice bike GLWTS.👍

I may consider something in part exchange
up to £2000.00 . Ideally looking for a Yamaha Fazer 1000 1st gen or similar.
Cheers. Oh and based in Bournemouth.

As one of the non Harleyites on here who have ridden them in the past, that has many of the qualities that make it very cool without much of the overly bling that they often come with...👍

Today went out in the pissing rain and put a new MOT on it passed with no advisory’s
Expiry date now 05/03/2027.
Then spent 3 hours cleaning it !!!
Nice clean bike (as always) £5.500.00 or sensible offers considered. Cheers 😎

Yes it’s a good price . It’s a fair price for this time of year . Cheers

Can the footboards be converted to footpegs on this bike?
I can’t say it’s something that has ever crossed my mind as it’s one of the things I like about the bike being able to move your feet around and the heel and toe gear leaver .

Completely agree footboards are one of the quirks around a Roadking that I really enjoy and the toe heel gear change. Great bikes and at a good price

I do like that a lot. They do look better I think with the soft luggage on, I had one years ago it was a superb ride, if my garage set up was different I’d have that in a heartbeat.

For all those who are looking but have never tried one, do it…..

Every now and then there’s an absolute gem on here. This is definitely one of them 👍👍
Maybe argument for having one less bike at any given time 🤔

I quite like it too. It’s my zero knowledge of the brand/type that puts me off.

Plenty of folk out there with knowledge at reasonable prices. Guy I use has looked after the Blue Angels in Leeds and his garage is like an operating theatre.

Plenty of knowledge on here plus you don’t need to know anything about them as they are bomb proof. The ‘best’ bikes are undoubtedly the early EVO engine bikes (1340cc) but these 1458 twin cam motors are almost as good I think, whilst being a bit more refined? In my opinion there is no other bike that makes you feel like a big Harley twin does riding on a warm summers day…

Yes they are great bikes I had a 1340 Road king that I sold on here some years ago , I purchased it with 75’000 miles on the clock and took it to Italy two up with the misses on the back via the Stevio pass. Most comfortable tourer I’ve had . I then sold it on here with over 80.000 miles. I think someone on here still has it. The 1450 dose have more get up and go . The good thing is at this price you can’t lose money as come the spring it will sell at its full value.
👍
