Yes they are great bikes I had a 1340 Road king that I sold on here some years ago , I purchased it with 75’000 miles on the clock and took it to Italy two up with the misses on the back via the Stevio pass. Most comfortable tourer I’ve had . I then sold it on here with over 80.000 miles. I think someone on here still has it. The 1450 dose have more get up and go . The good thing is at this price you can’t lose money as come the spring it will sell at its full value.
👍
It’s such a cool bike………so why are you selling it? It’s unlikely it’ll ever be worth less than you’re selling it for………..providing it’s kept away from the salt 🤔

That will be this one I bought off you 14 years ago.
It was then sold to Shep who used to frequent this place, he then sold it after a few years too.

Could do with the cash at the moment and a cheaper bike is one way of doing that . In the last couple of years I have only covered about 4000 miles so makes sense to me.

Harley’s never used to appeal to me but as I get older the idea of bimbling around the local roads at a more leisurely pace is starting to appeal. It’s the size and weight of them to manhandle them into the already crowded garage is an issue along with forward foot controls feeling a bit strange.

Harleys are great if you get in the frame of mind. They make no sense on a spreadsheet, but they’re phenomenal when you get sick of all the modern politically correct bullshit. They’re unapologetically obnoxious.
You really have to try before condemning.
I love them 😍

Selling my Harley Davidson, FLHRI, Road King, 1450cc, mileage 30.000, date of first registration is 01.01.2002. Imported from the US on 23.10.2017. Mot’d until 05.03.2026
I will be booking it in next week so will come with a fresh mot .
Existing mot has no advisory’s .
Last serviced 03.09.2025. I have attached a copy of the receipt for details.
Overall it’s in good condition, I purchased it in September 2024 from Steve Bateman in Ringwood , I have added the screen as it came without one and I have had a pair of baffles made as it was so loud . Sounded great but was so loud it would set off car alarm's. It now sounds
Loud enough without being so intrusive.
Also comes with rear back rest . I only have the history that I was given with the bike I will attach a copy of the sales ad
For more details. Price £5.500.00
Cheers
What happened to the passing lights?

The bike came as it is . No passing lights no crash bars no crome trims on the front and rear mudguards.

These pictures are of the bike out side the dealers on the day of purchase

Can the footboards be converted to footpegs on this bike?
No - not easily - one US company made peg based forward controls a few years back and they are like unicorn poo second hand.

Having done thousands of miles on floor boards I can confirm they are very comfy

I’ve done a few 500 Mile days and can still function when I arrive.

This is a god buy and will never be cheaper then £5k it’s a depreciation proof motorcycle

Did you end the eBay ad. I can’t find under
Item no. 196601708033 ?

That was the ad from when I bought the bike . I haven’t advertised the bike anywhere else as I find Ukgser a safe place to sell and buy. Conquest motorcycles where I had the bike mot’d valued the bike at £6000
And would sell it on commission for me however I don’t want to be without a bike for more than a few days and by the time they take their commission
It’s back to £5.500. So still £5.500 ono.👍

The timing is wrong for me unfortunately, otherwise I would be very interested 👍
