Hi All,

Reducing the number of bikes since Mrs GSite retired, we plan to travel more and do some bucket list things.

Seems cruiser folk often look to source their summer ride at this time of year so let's see.

Bought new by me in March 2023 so on a 23 plate, only keeper on V5.

The 114 M8 motor is 1868cc with a six speed gearbox for those who don't know.

It will be due it's first MOT in early March, so of course this will be done prior to sale.

No finance outstanding.

Vivid Black with orange racing logo on the tank as a factory colour scheme.

Sissy bar, pad and rack - quick release.
Front fender extender
Oil cooler protection grille
Standard exhaust, no engine staging or modifications
Sundowner wide comfort seat shown in photos is virtually new and cost £450 but bike will also come with the original seats.
Seating is a very personal thing I guess, so price reduction if Sundowner not wanted.

Although the bars are slanted back in the photos, the position can be altered fore and aft at the bar clamps for comfort.

Book pack, both keys and remote fob present.
Mileage to date, 1823
First service at 1031 miles by Sycamore Harley, my local dealer.
Annual oil and filter changes, August 24 and 25, using genuine parts by myself, despite minimal use.
Now in winter storage on battery tender, so mileage will not change.

As with previous bikes I have sold on here it is absolutely as brand new in every respect, the attached photos will show this.

Hope the informtion is useful, happy to provide anything else as required.

I am based near Grantham, Lincolnshire, so just off the A1.

Asking £9,950 which is well under what a dealer would charge, £1500 - 2000 less than bikes in this condition, mileage and extras. You may see bikes advertised at what seems a very keen price, when you get there they may not be as nice as this one, I have been there.

No part exchange offers please, just looking to sell, but if it does not go I will put it on the road from April and try to get some use from it, who knows maybe even turn up at the local HOG meeting.

Hopefully no serious comments trashing the sale, the black ones are slower and break down more blah, blah, LOL.
Feel free to comment on the disgusting state of the drive though !

Thanks for looking.

Sorry for this serious reply but that really is the way to sell a bike.

Squeaky clean - everything present, correct and perfectly documented - good pictures and (crucially) it has not been messed about with. Cracking price n'all.

Great advert. GLWS - :thumb2

Fantastic and underrated bike. I had the 107 version and "tuned" it with a V&H FP3 which, for me, made it feel even better. The handling was very good and I didn't bother swapping the suspension out for anything else, unlike my Street Glide which needed Ohlins before it felt like I wasn't riding a hardtail.

I did swap out the standard mufflers for a V&H pair and put quiet baffles in. Deep and rumbling

I sold my Street Bob last year and really miss it. Sadly, funds don't allow me to buy this one.

Good luck with your sale of this excellent bike. Oh, and I had the Sundowner seat too. Lovely

just wondering what seat you have on the bob,
looks a lot more comfortable than standard
i have a 107 street bob

Seems there are no Harley types on here interested in a top tier bike in terms of condition, mileage and provenance at a very very reasonable price. Have to say that on platforms such as fleabay, bike trader etc, it is the cheapest I have seem by far given the above. Guess that's the state of the market at the moment, no suprise really, but thanks for looking.
Will leave it for sale on here in the meantime until I decide on next steps, but may well ride it for another summer rather than accept a really low ball offer.

I was in a similar position with my 107. Put it on eBay and quickly sold it to a good bloke. He travelled from Chelmsford to Shropshire to collect it in a van borrowed from his employer 😊

Now Harley season is here, let's try again - given age and condition this is the cheapest on the market by country mile.
Will have a new MOT this week

Unashamed bump, the cheapest available by far so can only assume no Harley types wanting a bargain.
A few offers of £9000 which have been declined, think folk want to buy ultra cheap now, ride for the summer then easily sell for the same figure. Can't expect me to fund their summer pleasure so the price is firm and still £2000 less than a dealer at this time of year.

Now with full MOT and brand new upgraded battery.
Done 90 miles this morning, rides as well as ever so know all ok after winter storage.

A real bargain, according to reliable sources, AKA biker mates and thay should know.
Saw one today at a Harley dealer, same age, more miles and standard seat, £11995.

Not just yours mate. Market is ultra slow.

Like last year but with knobs on.

Yep, seems so, folk want more than a bargain and expect you to fund it.
May well end up keeping it even if it is not getting as much use as I hoped, but still a nice thing to own.
Thing is that in some cases, dealers still want top money so their margain appears to have increased over last year.

In response to the last comment I concur that dealers are seriously out of step. Wanting £1500 profit margins on secondhand bikes that are mint, very low mileage and still in warranty is a complete and uttter rip off and ultimately dealers will end up with lots of stock in a slowing market. With extortionate servicing cost as well, for what amounts to an oil and filter change plus lap top hook up, they do not seem to realise what a turn off it all becomes.
My advice is buy secondhand at the level this Harley is at, service yourself (not complicated if you only do a few thousand miles per year) or cosy up to a specialist small quality outfit the likes of Mike Overy’s set up. Time to take charge in my opinion.
Good luck with the sale, it looks a minter and spot on!

Agreed Archie. If I was daft enough to sell to a Harley dealer, they would attempt a mark up of about £3000 - 3500 if what I saw today is any indication. As you say some dealers have lost the plot.
