2008 Fatbob 8000 miles paintwork on rear fender is peeling and bubbling (should be ashamed of themselves on a £14k bike), so pulled all the bits off today. Any recommendations for a good Harley painter oop north?
Fancy doing it in the softail pacific blue and vivid black two tone.

It's the freshwater that's the problem......

is it scaley or slimey ?

i,d have thought silver with alower section in irredescant green would be more in keeping...

paint my ride in richmond or rapier in hull, there is also one in middlesborough think it is cleveland bike spray

There's a place in Waddington near Lincoln called PRP who used to do all the respray work for the local BMW, Mercedes, Saab dealers and the like until they were expected to provide customers with loan cars etc.
It's a small business run by 3 quirky brothers but they have an excellent local reputation.
I took my Jag there after she'd been side swiped by some tw@t in a lorry, though my insurers wanted me to go elsewhere.
Delighted with their work and I know, having had discussions with them about stone chips on my RT panniers they'll do bikes as well.
They might be worth calling?

I had both front and rear mudguards painted on my 2008 Sportster after it all flaked off. Gave a mudguard to Dingbro Paint Suppliers. Chap had it for 3 days by which time he'd worked out that the paint Harley use is identical to a Mercedes colour (it's a dark-ish metallic blue :D ) Took it to the local Bodyshop who do the bodywork repairs to my 4 wheeled vehicles. Supply and painted £80. Now that's NOT Harley prices. And I think you'll find that there is no difference in the colour. Unless I tell people they have no idea it's been resprayed.

I like that!!! please show us more, and who did you use in the end and would you be wiling to tell us what the job cost cost.
