It's easy - just look where you want to go - use a bit of back brake to steady the bike - tip in in big-time - oooh and most imprortant
***************** use someones elses bike !!!!!!!!!!!!

yes. ;)
so much easier when not thinking of the potential repair bill. :D
i had so much fun at an "experienced rider training symposium" (took a German gent to name it that :blast) run by F.I.M. on an ADAC track outside Frankfurt :bounce1
on one of the aspects we were told to deliberately enter a blind bend and when we saw the 'obstacle' to be avoided - use the front brake hard to shed speed and then correct course.

o.k - so you want me to enter a bend, leant over and then firmly apply front brake?
:eek
oooh.k. - 's not my bike :nenau
actually - it was a very good session and - to the suprise of some - no one did highside :thumb

on the same 'symposium' we got to play with BWM 650s fitted with outriggers like half a shopping trolley on each side of the Bike and sent down a skid pan. (got a pic somewhere - i could look for?)
that was just weird. very weird.

best bit though was my first ever experience with a proper trials bike.....
up and down a flight of steps :green gri

Dead easy on a harley

I'm serious, cos of the running boards you can stop it falling over by pushing down on the inside board. Your noway close to the edge of grip so its just a case of keeping the weight central a bit like turning tight on a trials bike.
Does help if you don't have to pay the repair bill as well.
There was a great prog on telly about the CHiPs and there trainingwhich explained everything. Alot harder to do on a BMW thats fer sure.:thumb2

Do tell more on this technique...I'm enjoying my Electraghlide UltraClassic but would love to improve my technique!
