anyone got a nice softail / deluxe / roadking that they are thinking of moving on? I almost bought one at the weekend but it sold before I got to see it.

all budgets considered. I'm not into over the top chrome / tassels / leather bags - more bagger style or potential for same.

Lol. coffee spat. most have thought that for years!

I just take notions for different bikes and cars every so often. Some days i like to 'get sporty', others i like a plod along - sounds a bit Winnie the Pooh!

i do it with cars too, like old classic stuff then go full on sports car! I think it's having a dull 1300gs and a Polestar is what's driven the current head melt.

Not long sold my FLHR Roadking 2020MY, absolutey great bike but the weight - is a lot! Comfiest bike I've ever ridden though, and the M8 engine is a peach.

The Heritage softail has a lower seat height- apart from that is fairly similar overall.

How about a very nice 2018 Anniversary Breakout? I know it's not a Roadking or Deluxe but It's a Softail. The forks have black covers on now. I've had it from new and still have all the original stuff (exhausts, foot pegs, cams plate bracket) etc. It's stage 2 torque tuned and has a Power vision programmer on it that I use to load different maps for baffles or no baffles. I have new heat shields for the exhaust that would change the chrome Blow Performance covers on it to either black or copper. Sounds nice, not too noisy but you can tell it's coming.

I'd say It looks newer now than it did when it was new. about 5k miles.

I had several Harley’s recently (3 fat boys and 2 slims, all M8, in last 4 years) but not quite right for me but I do change my bikes way too often and then I had a BMW R18 Classic. Not a Harley but it did everything better….equipment, gearbox, brakes, handling, and half the price of the equivalent year/spec Harley

If you think a Road King is heavy, you should try a Rocket 3 Touring

What's your budget? I keep toying with selling my Low Rider ST El Diablo, which is a 117 (or 1923cc) m8 softail. Had her from new, circa 9k miles on her, full harley history. Like all good Harley owners I've spent a small fortune on it but have all the stock parts as well & a couple of different seats. Biggest outgoings were the Advanblack colour matched panniers (street/road glide size) and fairing lowers. I've still got the clamshell panniers. Also changed the usuals such as stage 1 so exhaust, tune & air intake. Bar risers with pullback, crash bars, pegs etc.
