I've read somewhere that it's possible to take the harness off without lifting the rear frame. I would like to see that.





On the LH side, the thread screwed up. Before drilling its head, any input?



Is there enough meat to put an helicoil or is there a better solution?

No need for a helicoil … the part where the thread is damaged is a bar that slides through the rear of the gearbox case from the R/H side. Just buy another bar from Motorworks or James Sherlock, very cheap.
