Has anyone fitted a Denali Complete CanSmart Kit (lighting and horn) R1200GS LC, R125

Thinking of buying one of these full Denali kits for my 1250gs rallye te. I was going to order the bmw led light kit when I ordered my bike but a friend had this on his adventure and found it not very bright and I must admit his lights didn’t really catch my eyes in my mirrors.
Could anyone who has bought and fitted one of these kits offer any advice please. Is it pretty straight forward to fit of a bit of a pain? Is there anything else you would advise me to add to the kit or found any better lighting kits? I was originally thinking of just getting the lights with the additional rear brake light but can’t make my mind up lol. Any advice much appreciated - Thank You.
 
I fitted a full kit to my 1250 te. It’s easy to fit, the “hardest” part is routing the cables to the front of the bike but you can do it without removing loads of body panels if you’re careful. My only criticism is the horn bracket needs a slight mod to make the horn more secure (there’s a post on her somewhere about it). Once fitted it’s a really good piece of kit. The D4 lights are awesome, dimmable, strobe when horn is pressed and cancel when indicators are on. The sound bomb is mega loud but a little fiddly to position. The rear light is also good and small enough to mount on the bottom of the number plate. It really is a plug and play item.
Might be a lot of money for the full kit but I think it’s worth it.

I'm useless, so enlisted a mate to help me, but it is really good kit and a simple fit.

As said, cable routing is where the effort is needed. I didn't bother with the rear light, just the D4's and horn. I disagree with others 'issues' on the horn placement on an LC bike - fits perfectly. The settings are easily accessed, plugging into the main unit, under the seat.

Fitted unit to my 2018 1200 ,piece of cake as others say hardest part is routing cables neatly and securely . I did not fit brake light but switched wire to 12v and fitted duel sockets into top box to charge items or run things in security of box.
Fitted horn under nose beak opposite side to original ( but only got small sizes horn find it loud enough.

Hi, I had previously fitted a set of Denali D4’s and D2’s to my 2016 Lc using the Denali switches on a perch mount on bar but found operation tiresome, so on trading in for my new Rallye I removed everything and have now refitted everything to my new ride using the Cansmart and its Awesome, does everything easy peasy like BM should have done or facilitated. I however removed all the bodywork, tank etc and followed BM’s cable paths zipping in as I when, not fitted the horn as I’ve used the horn supply with a 2 wire pigtail from R&G to connect a fuse block to power / charge accessories including camera, under seat USB’s and hella socket, limited to total of 10amp, but do plan on fitting a pair of B6’s to my panniers.
D2’s are on lower engine bar mounts and D4’s on a Denali top mount, I have found the clearance between the beak and D4’s to be very close compared to the 2016 bike on the 2019 Rallye te we’re talking couple of mm when lined up correctly but even with a bit of shake rattle and road it’s enough not to touch, all in excellent quality products and made to work / integrate with the canbus system and as others have said an easy fit even given the fact that I stripped the bike for fitting it still only took a few hours.
One thing I was hoping was that the Cansmart would of had a split B6 circuit by now L/R to facilitate additional lights including the normal B6 functions and and a turn signal so that they could be mounted on the panniers outer rear edges for greater visibility to other road users, I did post this as a suggestion to Denali whom I think took it onboard. Good luck with your fitting and just take your time and all will be good I’m sure. :clap
 
What everyone else has said - and be amazed at the difference between high beam with D4, and dip only. A real night and day situation.

Have an 18 GSA and Did Denali D4. Tailight and Mini Soundbomb all connected with the Denali CanSmart ...FYI the Mini is easy to mount off the headstock and you leave the stock horn in place and when you push the stock horn button they BOTH go off and trust me You don't need anything louder.!!! I posted a photo work along over on advrider and will try to find a link

Over the dozen pages after that I did a photo/ written install on the Denali cansmart ,d4, mini soundbomb and taillight. Along with tank removal, wiring location and even did some sound deadening on the aluminum tank
