since this thread has been closed, I have strarted a new one.

the anwser is no I havent yet, but I am trying.

Its a fairly simple job if you just want to fit them on the 990, the difficult bit is if you want to swap them between 990 and the 1100GS they are designed for.

If second hand I will make the assumption that you have a set with a cutout for the exhaust on the left,, in which case simple job to get a bit of plate welded over the cutout and then mount using TT pucks to the KTM Rails.
If you are looking at buying new, then get a set without the cutout and again use the puck system.

The diffulty with swaping them is that anyway you care to mount them then one of the mounting pucks needs to be put where there is a cutout in the pannier, but to be fair I havent set aside time to give it a good go yet.

You can easily get the cut out filled in if necessary. I had mine done by a local welder for £50 and although you can see where the job was done, it's on the inside so no worries for me. You can then use teh puck system pretty easily I would have thought.

getting the cutout filled in is no problem, the problem is that they wont fit the 1100gs then, I am trying to come up with an elegant solution that allows me to swap them between the 1100 and the 990
