Has anyone found a way of wirelessly transferring routes to the Garmin XT 2 - the same as the XT and Drive app does ?

How many waypoints?
80 says MRA (it’s the ACT UK Day1 track).

Once in Tread, there’s an option to “Convert to Route” which I think I used. You’ll need to check that it’s not rerouted anything though.

Garmin is fairly specific on the differences between tracks and routes.

Thank you.

Am I correct in thinking it was imported it as a Track as opposed to a Route ?

I'm thinking this as you have the option for a conversion to a Route.

This seems to be what happens if you have a lot of shaping points; it comes in as a Track and the POI's and shaping points are lost when converted to a Route.

Yes. Imported as a track.

No, I can’t see the shaping points any more* (but they must be there as the Track follows the same path even after a Convert To Route). I don’t modify the route in Tread - I re-edit in MRA and re-export.

* there was something on the MRA forums about the different export options which allowed for the display of shaping points - but I never got it to work and I wasn’t that fussed.
