Has anyone regretted trading in their 1250 GSA for a 1300 GS?

Regretted selling my R1250GSA to buy a R1300GSA then regretted selling that to buy a Triumph Rocket which I swopped for a R1250GS TE Trophy.

Regret selling them all. But the urge to buy another bike is always with me.

Think the R1300GSA is the best GS owned to date.

Took a count and it’s been about 30 since I joined this forum in August 2002.

Initially I missed my 1250 ADV after trading it for a 1300ADV . My 1250 had been all over Europe so I had really bonded with it , it had been everywhere with me . The lack of luggage initially was also a hassle but now that has improved, I feel the 1300 is a better bike . It corners really well and feels lighter though it’s not . Give it time and you will appreciate it . I love the looks . The recent MCN write up felt it was a great bike and the natural successor to the 1250 ADV
Evening Robbo. I'm in a very similar position to you - I've done about 150k across 6 1200/1250 GSAs, and I traded my 2022 1250 for a 1300 GSA yesterday. I am very torn - I loved that 1250, and I find the 1300 very hard to look at. I've got one with ACC just because most bikes are apparently specced with it. Not my first choice.

As an aside - I was surprised at both how strong the PX value of my high mileage 4yo 1250 was, and how much discounting there was on the 1300.

For what it's worth from me, I have the ACC and think it's excellent. If you're covering serious miles on motorways, it really helps reduce fatigue.
