The two needle bearings in my friend's clutch are finished. Bike is an early build date 2009 with 40,000kms combined city and highway with maybe a little more city than highway. The throw out ball bearing is in great shape but the needle bearings are gone. What would cause this? Any ideas? Thanks. 3 week wait for parts from Germany. The bearing might be able to be sourced locally but the single use washer cannot and I am reluctant to have my friend go ahead without a new washer for behind the main clutch nut. Apologies if the nomenclature is not up to spec but I am sure you will understand the parts I am talking about.
