Thinking of getting one as they seem to have a good write up in mags. Rather have a few views from the group if anyone on here has one.:thumb

Yep, bought one a couple of months ago & I'm still very happy with it.
One of only 5 flip helmets that achieve 5 stars in the Sharp test. It comes with a Pinlock, sun visor & dual homologation.
It's a good fit for me & the lining is soft. Quite light compared to some flip fronts
Everything works great but it's a tad noisy with visor open & no earplugs but much better with front flipped up
For the money I think it's hard to beat

Good review here - http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...uke/review.htm

Had mine for a year, nice helmet, though depends what size head you've got, I understand that there's just one shell size which can make for a big lid if you've got a small/medium head. Just recently had a problem with the pinlock coming unstuck, but seem to have sorted it with turning the pins. +1 on the Bruce chin!

having said that, I still like to use my old Shoei instead sometimes, a Caberg doesn't have the plush, quality feel of a Shoei

YMMV

I'm on my second Caberg flip front. Was very happy with the first but when it got a bit old I thought I'd treat myself to a Schuberth C3, which I wore for one hour and knew I couldn't get on with it. Realised throwing money at something doesn't make it right for you, so went back to another Caberg. Excellent helmet. Not the quietest, but very comfortable and as I wear in-ear monitors anyway the quietness issue isn't a problem. The newer ones are made to accept helmet comms too, so no pressing against the ear.

I have the tourmax version and I quite like it, but,,,,,next time I will spend a little more, the ventilation isn't great and after 2 years its getting a bit squeaky if that make sense. The peak on the tourmax is pretty flimsy and its prone to gusts of wind. I find it pretty noisy tbh.
