Unless you are a Japanese Buddhist who venerates the dead and the old, ignore his rotations

That was easy to sort, my dad pointed out he would not have been too chuffed with all the Jap stuff I bought so I expect he has already rotated more times than any BMW shaft drive has managed.

Keep the ZZR, are you mad, do you not know how uncomfy these are (compared to GS) and how quickly they can evaporate your licence and get you locked up (and I am far too pretty for that) not to mention no fun at all on our congested over-policed roads, it is good for the ego and to kill time polishing at the weekend, and the worlds best bike about 1% of the time.

Most parts already have homes lined up so it will be back to stock and going for a song by Sunday :thumb

You'll hate the standard GS seat then. ;) and the buffeting and the tingly hands.....

Does a new FD with breather not imply the old one was flawed, possibly not fit for purpose or should have been re-called :nenau

Certainly a bit more ammo for anyone having issues with out of warranty failures.

Also wondered if a breather could easily be tapped into existing units?

Although now the unit has puny oil capacity in a sytem that generates a lot of pressure, the sort of pressure prone to misting oil - and a breather for it to escape out of, will it last from one service to the next without a top up?
