.....have been phoning the last three days and GS Rich not responding to PM's ?

Anyone know if they're at a show or something or 'factory break' ?

I phoned them Tuesday, very helpful, custom lead arrived in the post Thursday morning

Hmm.....I know Warwick is close to Coventry but didnt realise I'd been sent there.....

I bought two of the new lead holders from Autocom back in early May, the sticky pads were below spec and Rich was going to send me two replacements but havent heard for a while.....

Rich ? RICH ?? Come in RICH !!!

I called in at the unit in Warwick two Fridays ago.
Picked up a curly cord but didn't have the part I was after. I got a call from Paul on Monday telling me to call Billy at Hursts in Belfast.
He'd tracked down the part for me and Hursts would mail it to me direct when I sorted out delivery details and payment over the phone.
Part arrived and fitted by Wednesday.

Great service:thumb

Had four of them and still fall off still waiting for number 5 & 6
Will give them a call in the morning, let you know

If the pads that autocom supply are that bad why don't you go to a car parts place that supplies number plates and get some of the sticky pads they use for number plates... they are really strong... while autocom should have pads fit for the job... is it worth the hassle of getting more sent when you may be able to source something better locally for a few pence.

I see your logic there...........buuuuut.........if you pay for something - I kinda want the supplier to sort it out.

At the end of the day - the holders arent entirely necessary - the cable doesnt look neat but I can live with that........so I'm prepared to wait a little for the supplier to sort it out.

Rich has been great in the past to be honest and did a great job fitting my original Autocom gear - so no complaints with Autocom and Rich - just need to get in touch with him !

Was there last Saturday, Rich and another techie there on their own, busy but still v helpful.

Rich told me (which surprised me at the time, from his time point of view) that he is on most bike forums as, say HarleyRich, or VFRRich etc. On reflection a good way of drumming up business and dishing out valuable advice tho.

off the planet

Rich has been busy and also been away for a few days. I suspect holiday season for some of them.

We are still very much still here and it is our busiest time of the year so I might not be able to get on here as much as I would like as I am downstairs in the fitting bay a lot.

As far as I am aware I have replied to all of my PM's btw as I not the type of person to ignore them. I check on here as much as I can in the week.
