I went down to Carfest at Oulton Park last weekend, fully loaded with camping gear so bumped up the tyre pressures to 2.5 and 2.9 as recommended, also set preload for full load.

Now I'm back, I was out yesterday with a mate on his R100RS but forgot to lower the tyre pressures back to 2.2 and 2.5.

The difference in handling was amazing, the Bridgestone 021's felt much better and the bike actually tipped into corners instead of me having to force it. So I'm going to leave the pressures as they are now the bike rides so much better.

The bike now has 3095 miles on it now and I'm loving it. After the Honda ST1300 it feels like I'm back on a bike now, the ST1300 was very good, but bland though, but I wish the RT had the outright ooomph that the ST1300 had, the Rt isn't exactly slow.

Said it a dozen times or more Do NOT check machine manufacturer manaul or website for tyre pressures

ALWAYS Check the TYRE manufacturers website

After 3,000 miles, the OE Bridgestones become "interesting" even at the higher pressures!

After 3 sets of PR3s, I'm about to have some Angel GTs fitted (soon as I've finished this coffee). Should have 2,000miles on them by the end of August, and hopefully will have worn them out by late-September :augie
I'll report back :thumb
