Have I cocked up

Purchaced the bmw ali panniers and had a problem fitting with the remus, big problem was I flogged my standard can !
So decided to buy one from E bay 1150 gs no year mentioned
but bought anyway not thinking 2 deep.
So my question is will a standard not twin spark can fit without any issues to the engine , a twin spark adventure .
( It does fit )

I doubt they are different - I've just fitted a nearly new CAT from a twin spark to my single spark S and all part No's etc were identical.

Did what I should have done in the first place and rang my as usual helpful dealer.
Both the same.
