Can I use an Optimate charger with my new Hawker battery?
There's a note in the box with the battery saying only to use a specific charger.

My Gel battery went down and my optimate wouldn`t touch it. They are ok for maintaining charge but no good charging a Gel battery from scratch in my experience.

if its the MkIII Optimate, they do Glass Matt battery's, used one on my 1150 with the Hawker, no problem, in fack you hardley need to charge these battery's they are that good
