Hayes brakes

those Contis, look like they are wearing well, The PR5s i had on had a very regular wear pattern and the front was wearing quicker that the rear.

Back to the brakes, having just got a 1250 last month, i have to agree the brakes are superb. I did a 300 miler last weekend around Wales,On some tight corners I found the brakes were slowing the bike quicker than anticipated, Superb Bite. One of my worries when purchasing the 1250 was these Hayes Brakes compared to the Mighty Brembos, but they was no need at all.

As you say the brakes are brilliant now and surpass the brembro . The Pr5 in the photo did 1500 miles , great tyre but limited for the situation they were expected to work in .
No worries with the brakes now , they do eat pads tho .
The conti tyres were changed after 2000 as they had lost front profile and the rear was stepped enough to make it rumble , and the front was not steering as the sides s were too worn.

Better than the Brembo, and that hurts to say . Good decision from Bm to change

Ah damn.... and I had my catch phase song all planned out.

Nuts whole Hayes are nuts, Ooooo
Cadburys take them and they turns them into chocolate

Shiiiit......

When worn 80% I replaced front pads with EBC items. A bit subjective but they seem a bit sharper on heavy braking.

looks like ta3,s for me then cheers Stick.Best place to purchase online ?
