This past Saturday I uncovered my bike to find that the Hazard Lights started flashing as soon as I turned the key. I hit the switch to turn them off but they did not.

Bike started fine, but lights just wouldn't quit. Did the quick check for loose wires, pulled and replaced relays/fuses, turned all the switches on and off... No luck. Lights stayed on and flashing with or without the bike running or key in.

In a panic over being stranded and without a shed/garage to sit and test the electrical system I called around and found that Park Lane was open in Battersea and would take the bike... I completely understand that is not the recommended course of action, but it was the only one I could think of on the fly like that. Apparently the lights stayed on all weekend and ran the battery flat.

However, after charging all day today. The lights are no longer flashing and apparently various lights work on command.

Any thoughts?

I've considered Ground Fault, Alarm, Switch. If they don't diagnose by COB tomorrow I will be seeing the advice of a higher power... Which I'm trying to set up anyway for basic service. It sucks to not have a place to work. I haven't paid for an oil change in too long.

Hello mate. It's the alarm - exact same thing happened to me soon after I bought it. Have a look at the Meta alarm instructions in the documents folder. It has (for some reason I never understood) a 'hazard warning lights mode' or something like that.

Looked it up online:

'to deactivate the hazard warning facility, disarm the system, turn on the ignition and press the remote control once'
