We'll having ridden the 1150 i wanted to see what the 1200 was like before parting with my hard earned.
Wow! The two bikes (1150 and 1200) are two different beasts in the engine department! The 1200 really does pull very nicely all the way to the redline. The rest of the package is just as awesome
You can tell its lighter, it looks smaller and i don't think as planted as the 1150 is, but it still goes round corners like nothing else. I was hacking through a series of narrow twisty roads, crap surface, cats eyes (what cats eyes?), looked down and i was doing 70+mph...no way on earth would i be doing that on my VFR for sure!
The 1200GS really appeals to the hooligan in me
What brakes! that front has nearly no travel but the feedback is still excellent.
I now have to wait for my red/grey/black 1200 to be delivered, and i big thumbs up for Cannon BMW in Chelmsford, very helpful, nice people
PS Anyone know anyone who'd be interested in buying my VFR?
My demo bike had the Remus can on with the baffle and it sounded VERY NICE! I shall have to have one of those, minus the baffle of course
