Over the years, the glass lenses had been sand blasted to a rough look. Is there any good commercial polishing paste to try and polish them up a bit?

What about a good set of LED driving lights from the east?

Car Motor Factors will have a couple of products.

You can buy a mild metal polish called Peek that is actually also suitable for plastics including car headlamps......

From the 80`s:nenau That is just fucked up.

Late 1930s actually so you're only about 50 years out. The French government wanted to differentiate civilian vehicles from potential hostile (probably German) ones so it became law just before the outbreak of war.

They look cool on old Citroens and Renaults but silly on Harley's. Sorry jackass. :rob
