Hi all
this question may have been posted before but
do you need to change the direction of your head lamp beam for france if so how any suggestions

Yup, you do. Have a look in your owners manwell for destructions and pics. Involves popping the light cowling off, loosening a screw and rotating the lamp unit around :thumb Probably a thread about it somewhere but I don't know where :nenau

Wouldn't bother.

The 1150 beam pattern is so pathetic you won't dazzle anyone anyway. I've never bothered about it and never been flashed.

Remove screen.

Remove silver fairing

IIRC remove headlight surround.

Undo clamp on dip.

Rotate dipped beam to foreign position. :thumb

Sorry to bring this thread up again but I can't rotate the dipped to the continent position :(

Took the screen and silver fairing off as per manual, then undid one bolt (that won't come off completely and then.............got stuck.

I can't understand the manual picture :spitfire

Can someone please just point in the pic which bolt do I have to take off?

Thanks :bow

Thanks a lot John, will try it tonight when I finish work and post the results tomorrow

Oh dear, why did I start messing with it... :(

Undid the screw again and now I can put it back in place (manage to get it halfway) 'cos I destroyed the screw's head (using the screwdriver from the toolkit)...I know I'm stupid :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Results so far, didn't turn the headlight to the "continent" position, and even worse now it's pointing more to left than it was

Thanks all for your help
