my rubbers on the handle bars need replaceing i have heated grips fitted, can i just change the rubbers or have i got to buy the heated grips???

If you have BMW heated grips the wires are integral to the grip so have to be replaced at around £60 ea. There have been threads on DIY ones for repair which others may know more about.

Er, I've just replaced my rubber grips (2002 1150GS). They just pull off and are totally independant of the heaters so new rubbers can be slid on no prob. About a tenner from motorworks.
