I am about to fit a full system to my gs from quill.

Has anyone fitted a full seta of headers and a can and NOT fitted a PC or other, is the fuelling going to be enough standard or do i run the risk of running lean??

Remus full sytem and can on mine.

No electrical jiggerypokery box.

No problems.

I asked this question the other day. The answer I got was it shouldn't be a problem as long as you have your O2 sensors fitted, they sort the fueling out for you.:)

I have a full Remus on mine without any adjustment to the fuelling. There was a guy who had his on a dyno. The result was that it ran slightly lean but only at full throttle. As you're not on full throttle very long it is ok. For some reason the lambda sensors only correct things at certain rpm .

....only at tickover. Everything else is controlled by the fuel map via the Cat Code Plug.

i think you're right, except that the 1200 doesn't have a cat code plug, it has downloadable software maps.

but if the system is anything like the 1150, the closed loop circuit only affects the fuelling at relatively low revs.

As long as you don't tamper with the induction side the factory mapping should cope...

this shudnt matter either, as the ecu still sorts things out, admittedly it mite be better with a powa commanda, i been runnin headers and a BMC filter now for the last couple of months no probs:thumb, and theres a few others on here doin the same, and if you do a search you'll also find that even with an electronic jiggery pokery box, it still begs the question is it worth it for what they cost:augie i did some research and as whats already been said they can run lean at full throttle but you never run at full throttle all the while do ya:spitfire

I've had a full Remus system on mine for a couple of years, with no amendments to the electrics, and not had any problems. That's not to say (a) I haven't just been lucky or (b) things might not be better with a PC or similar.

(I didn't fit the exhaust for noise, power or weight reasons - although it definitely helps with noise and weight and seems better on power - but because a whole new system including titanium can was barely more expensive than an OE silencer that was damaged when a car hit me.)

Me too..

Hope it doesn't matter. Been running Remus headers and Akro can OK and have K+N filter waiting to be slotted in.

Last I knew Powercommander were not doing anything for the 1200GS.

Too complicated apparently.

Has this changed.

Whoops! Thought I was in the 1150 forum. :)
