If fitting non oe haeders without CAT do you or is it wise do anything else or just fit /ride an forget ,any info anyone!!!!!

if you want to just get rid of the cat then buy a replacement y piece no need to change headers, no real point, wont give any better performance, and could bog it down mid range.

to get the best you need full system, full intake, including larger snorkel, new airbox, new ecu to combat the running very lean and holing the piston, better spark plugs
all this would cost maybe 2grand, and you would get maybe 12bhp extra at a push.

so i suppose yes is your answer.

We've done this quite a lot recently bose, do a search. However, in general terms, I'd suggest that it depends upon the age of your bike. '04-'07 you can probably get away with just fitting headers and / or an aftermarket end can. Even for '07 bikes you might want to run the bike on the dyno to establish that the air/fuel ratios are rich enough. For '08 onwards bike which have a leaner fuel map, I'd definitely run them on the dyno and be prepared to use a Power Commander or some other device to have the fuelling mapped closer to the optimum.

Yep cheers schtum its an 08 an maybe not worth the hassle for the mid range gain an exspense ,keep it original and just ride
