Along similar lines of the Engine Bar Protector Protector and the Wrap My Bike threads i've just had a brainwave!

Clingfilm....!

Stretch it over your headlamp, screen and body panels where you don't want them all stickied up with dead flies and crud and when you get where your going peel off the Clingfilm and your bike is fresh as a daisy.......

Cheap, easy to apply, tear off and re apply.

You could even do the same with your panniers, front engine cover and 'twatsuit' to keep that 'fresh from the dealers look'!

Should have thought of this ages ago.........Thanks for the inspiration

I know, I know but it's frustrating up here on the farm.....It's too wet to do any field work and there's so much salt been spread on the roads that i'm too frightened to take my 1200 out incase it dissolves like 'an aspirin in a glass of water'......!

If you wrap yourself in clingfilm too you won't need waterproofs
