Headlight Bulb gone!!

Bulb !!!! 16000 miles 2 bulbs, 2 rear tyres, new final drive, new ESA box , new rear shock but guess what ...............I still love it

My bulbs work just fine, but the main beam is no higher than the low beam.

Is there some kind of work round for these bulb failures (a la FPC)? - or should I go to the dealers and buy one at my own expense and lug it around in case it fails?

I really don't think this is on, BMW should sort this out y'know.

There is indeed a work around. I carry one of these (without the head, obviously. I'm not stupid) just in case.

It's not bright enough for fast riding, but it will get you home slowly...
