headlight fault showing 1200

my gs 1200 ,dash board showing fault on front headlight but lights are ok , any clues please

Check both high & dip beam are working also if you have a spare try changing it as it monitors resistance

My high beam is not working for weeks now.
LAMPF showing all the time.

Clean all terminals and connections as well...I've seem faults caused by corroded/dirty spade terminals even with the bulb working fine.

I presume it detects the increased resistance and 'thinks' it's a fault

Possible, make sure all the bulbs work including the little one, if the fault is still there unplug them and re connect make sure the pins are clean

Or, the LAMPF is telling you your high beam is bust

Is the little arrow pointing up or down. If it`s pointing down it`s the backlight bulb fault. The backlight will still light up but will have either the tail or brake light bit blown.
