Hi Everyone

I bought an AMMO Guard for my R1200GS LC 2017 last year.. At the time I was concerned that the screw holes were broken due to a previous owner using oversized screws which have expanded the holes and stripped the thread inside, however I fitted the guard anyway with what I had.

I removed the guard the other day as there was some moisture build up after I washed the bike, unfortunately one or two of the holes have lost there thread and I can't do the screws up tight enough to make a proper seal.

Can anyone suggest someone/something who might be able to help me repair the holes please?

I don't want to replace the headlight due to for tiny screw holes!!

You could fill the hole with epoxy resin and drill a small pilot hole then self tap screw in the new hole .might save the risk of the plastic cracking if using a larger screw .
