Yeah, they all say that because they have to. If you add anything to the headlight it then technically doesn't comply with regs. Certainly, I can't ever imagine you'd have a problem with a clear plastic one. Metal grills might be more of a challenge with a jobs-worth policeman / MOT tester....

Any thoughts on the plastic film type guards .

I have something similar but only expect it will stop small chips not "these covers have proven that they will withstand a barrage of 1" diameter stones at speeds up to 120 mph with no damage to the lens they protect".

My bike has a Cymarc headlight guard fitted, and had been looking for another option like protective film but just ordered one of these from 'Calsport'. Hopefully should be good as made by ztechnik.

Looks good and price reasonable. Please update us on how good/easy to fit the "marine-grade Velcro" is.

This looks pretty neat to me. I have tried to find it and can only find the NON LED option.

from your photo it looks like it is on an LED headlight. can you direct to where it is available....Cheers

Fitted rugged roads one just had to source some longer bolts for headlight!

Also fitted their radiator guards too 10 min job 3 bolts - look good!
