Has any one else found the Touratech Headlight Cover to be useless in the dark.

The light is reflected back up through the screen in dip beam and it is blinding in main beam.

I had the same problem/concern. A friend suggested that I move the clear plastic piece inside the brackets closer to the headlamp instead of on the outside of the brakets away from the bike. Still not perfect but much better.

The ones from boxer design come with a top plate that stops this now, and they offer a plate for anyone who's already bought one. Wonder if TT will as well???

Ill drop them an email alerting them and point out the boxer design solution and see what happens....

Had exactly same problem with my Touratech Headlight Cover.

Dealer when bike was in for initial 600 service said it would fail MOT !!!.

Have adjusted it to be closer to actual headlight lens and adjusted the angle (in at top out at bottom) but it still is not perfect.

Hope you keep us informed if you get any joy from TT regarding cover for top. I did think of something similar myself but had not around to trying that yet

Update

Have managed to solve the problem of the reflected light onto the inside of the windscreen.

Found this original piece of my old 650GS !!

Solves the problem and tidies up the front quite nicely. (no doubt others will have a different opinion).

Heres a couple of pictures of the finished job

I bought one of the 'velcro-on' protectors for £12 buy it now on eBay - looks identical to 'Woodys' mentioned in the post above.

Sorry, but I don't have the details anymore. The guy does, however, advertise them reguarly on eBay.

My eldest lads car. Shortly to be respayed.

The Zebra is our too !

Sprayed!?!? I thought you *had* to paint them with garage door paint and a brush!? :D

I'd love to have one of those, but I'm not going to pay the amounts that's being asked for them... :(
(Looked into buying one a few years ago; £400 - £1200 depending)
