headlight protection

i have a xr250 and took the clocks off last week
so they dont get smashed now i want to leave the headlight on
does anybody know wher to get protection either bars or perspex for the headlight

Hi John,
look up you local plastics supplier, they should be able to sort you out. Alternatively find a local company that manufactures something from perspex such as caravan window specialsts and get an offcut from their bin. To find a plastic supplier try www.applegate.co.uk.

tip:

get them to cut it to size for you. perspex is an absolute fecker to cut nicely with a hacksaw or jigsaw. it just melts it's way through.
