headlight turn off

How do you turn the headlight off
I was told that you held the r/h ind switch on before turning the ignition on but I can't make that work.

You've got a bit mixed up my friend.

The headlamp can't be switched off, but you can turn the parking light on after you have turned the ignition off and removed the key by hitting the indicator button.

I think you can turn the headlight off, several on this forum have said so, although it's not in the manual. Hopefully those who know will tell us more!
