Headlights

I am off to Garmisch next week. Is it mandatory to mask the headlights before going to Europe?

If it is can someone tell me where I need to put the tape on the glass/

Don't bother you won't get pulled for that and as you are on holiday will ride in the daytime most of the time probably.

If concerned take some tape with you and do it on the boat following an example off a car...

Isn`t there some lever type thing that swaps the beam direction over for you? SEE YOU THERE!!

Is it an 1150?

If it is... page 37 of the Service and Technical booklet tells you how to change for left and right dipping.
Basically just a partial rotation of the headlight.

It only takes 10 minutes to do and is far easier than pissing around with bits of Sellotape!
