I'll be riding right through this winter and will be wearing "warm'safe" heated gloves and jacket.

I'm hoping for some ideas for a cable tidy, rather than leaving the battery lead dangling from under the seat while I'm not on the bike.

Was thinking of a suction cup, of some kind, on the tank ?

I use a black version of the clip holding the blue wire in the photos above.

I have it stuck on the air intake tube, so the glue pad isn't on the tank paint, and I have a second clip that is aligned so that when I'm not using the cable, the clip hold the plug end facing downwards so it can't fill up with rain :thumb2

If you go to any radio spares type places (Farnells, Maplins etc) or any of the little tiny sheds that you'll find on practically every industrial site, they're the sort of thing you can pick up half a dozen varieties for a quid or two.

I also use a Kriega tank bra that I attach a US5 or US10 to, and I sewed a velcro loop on to that which holds a comms cord nicely.:thumb

3M leading edge tape or similar on the tank, velcro (fabric side) stuck to that and hook side of velcro on the back of controller. I now have the transparent tape on the tank as I found the cable movement, reduced as it was, had begun to mark the tank.
