Just found the price of the BMW ones on the Motor Works site: £72.53 for the throttle side and £66.14 for the clutch side. Are there other cheaper decent ones available?

EDIT: M Works do have another kit available at £51(or thereabouts) which includes all wiring and a heat control dial for mounting on the handlebars. That's a whole lot cheaper I know, but I can't help wondering about the quality at that price.

Think of it this way. The Motorworks grips are quality parts at a fair price. The BMW parts are purely a piss take as are most OEM prices.
You can't evaluate quality with price all the time. There are lots of good products for sale that are at east equal to OEM standard at half the price.
Example: An Ohlins shock is around £800 and BMW one over £1200 for ESA.

Total for the grips alone from BMW is £138, plus switch and wiring is umm, say £160?
Total for the cheaper kit including temperature control is £51, that ain't half the price, it's less than a third, hence my request for a "happy medium". :)

I use Oxford Hotgrips on mine. I've had them on for years now with no problems. Also had another pair on a previous bike for lots more years, again with no problems. They get good and hot as well.
