I have just purchased a HEX ezCAN II as well as a Wunderlich heated low seat for my 2019 R1250GS and would like to be able to switch the seat on/off from the ezCAN rather than install the switch and relay supplied. Seat is a simple on/off one and has 2 wires running to it.
My question is how or which circuit to use on the ezCAN when configuring it. I’ve seen the icon for heated gear which works in conjunction with the heated grips, but as the icon suggests, that seems more aligned with heated garments rather than to power the seat. It can’t be the 12v accessory icon as that has no on/off function, being either on or off according to the ignition.
Only one which seems possible is to use one of the aux spot light circuits and switch on using the Multicontroller. Is this right or is there a better switch controlled circuit on the ezCAN I should use.
