Rosie and I headed out for a bimble in the hail today, aiming to end up at Acton in Suffolk to look at the toys at Adventure bike shop.
Coming through Long Melford, we saw some fluro signs for a Motorcycle show, so we popped in to have a look......there were 50 or more bikes in the RBL carpark there.
I'm gutted I didn't have my camera with me, 'cos there was enough old English steel on show to make nearly all of the Airhead brigade who are still able to, cream in their trousers
Anyway, there was a Black Lebenfiddy GSA with a Hedingham ETH chair attached......and a lovely bit of engineering it was too.....
No leading link front end, this guy had an extra heavy duty extended bottom yoke , just a massive bit of billet ally that raked the forks forwards by a good 5 degrees or more, and a car size rear tyre on what appeared to be the original GS rear rim.
Out of interest, I just looked up the chairs and the exact same bike is on the Hedingham site
I'd be sorely tempted to get one if I was able to.......on the bike, it looked superb and the engineering was lovely
