Just bought a set for the TB,

Anything to watch out for?

All looks straight forward, apart from two bolts

Lower LH & RH which are the frame to engine block ..

Are these prone to being problematic, or is it just wind em out

Use a torque wrench but otherwise when I replaced my crash bars it was very simple

Bars were on the bike and I got reconditioned and bought a new bolt set as they were miss matched.

I can try and find the torque settings but they were either the same as the Haynes manual or within a few Nm and in the instructions for the bars which I found online.

When you took them off, did you do anything special with the original bolts for removal?

Heat? ive whacked pluss gas in for a couple of days on the trot

Liberal application of WD40 the day before and they were free.

If yours are seized then I’d WD40 and then focused heat the next day. Be careful not to overheat the block though!
