Just had a pair fitted to the ol lump, in preference to TKC80's. Only problem is the pressure to run em at, I have started with 33/37 as a guess cos' they are a smaller size than standard.

wots the best wisdum on these new hoops

Should be able to push them in about quater of an inch in the centre wiv ya thumb.

On tarmac or dirt? Tubeless or tubed?

To be honest, with all the "knobblies" I've tried (although I haven't tried Heidenaus), the pressure hasn't made a huge difference to the handling. I tend to use 20/25 psi on dirt and 32/36 on tarmac. But if I forget to reinfate after a days dirt riding, tarmac handling isn't that bad. I think the lower pressures will cause faster wear though.

If you have inner tubes and rim locks (unlikely on a GS I know) you could probably drop as low as 15/20 psi.

Okay chaps,
I will stick with standard pressures for the road  , and I may asses the offroad pressures for the Tong day! :D

Hi, Any chance of a little review?

What are they like on road? Wet and Dry...? In comparison to TKC's and Tourances..?

Thanks.

I`ve not used them on an Oilhead, but I`ve got them on the LegoBike (much modded R80G/S) and they`re at least as good as anything else I`ve ever used...if not better.
From brand new and zero miles they were superb on wet greasy roads witrh the bike loaded for the BMF Rally, and they`re awesome in the dry.
No vibration,minimal noise,maximum grip,total predictability and feedback.
All for £75 a pair... :bow
