I can't resist an oil thread 
I use Rock Oil 'Guardian' 20w50. It'll probably horrify the 'just use lard in your BMW' brigade, but I have to admit that it's semi synth (albeit a car oil and not a pointless bike oil). However at £13 for 4 litres from a guy on here (Fatal) I'm happy to change it every 3 to 4 thousand miles and while probably overspecified it gives me that warm "i'm doing right by my bike" feeling inside
