Hein Gericke Master jacket/trousers?

HG used to do an armour upgrade on purchase, where you pay the difference in catalogue price between the armour fitted and the upgraded version and they part ex them.

I like'em too.

Popped into HG yesterday for a look a the Master suit and the sales guy recommended the Cruise GTX. He said it only lacked a few features of the Master but was £150 cheaper. Looked better too, what with not being uniformly black and all.

In fact, I was pretty impressed with the whole HG range.

Bought the Cruise suit today, just done about 50 miles in freezing cold, absolutely brilliant. Going on a rideout with some Kent guys tomorrow, so probably able to report on the waterproof aspects of the suit tomorrow afternoon. :( So far though, and it is early days I know, I rate this kit. It had a Ride Best Buy according to HG full page ad in MCN this week.

I've got the Master IV Jacket and pants. We had four hours of British Snow/Sleet and rain only last thursday. I was totally dry and warm. So thumbs up from me. :thumb :thumb

Just a shame my SIDI EVO Blackrains filled up like a water butt. :tosser :tosser I'm sure they're advertised as waterproof. :nenau Oh well, back to the shops.

As for the Hiprtec upgrade, the HG website states " there is an upgrade offer" what it is, I have no idea.

Now I'm mystified, 'cos there isn't one on mine  At least, I can't find it so far, got a pic?

Great kit anyway, can also recommend the trousers, they have the braces and kidney belt attachment, brilliant.

John

Mine hasn't got one but i tried one on last year and they had them then

Best bit of biking kit I have ever owned - you can put the two litre "camel bak" in the back pocket for those really hot days :thumb

Upgraded to the Sports Hiprotec last week. The deal is "you save £5 per two pads" on normal £20 perset. The guy at the shop gave me the deal and allowed me to keep all the old stuff :thumb You can never have too much protection :clap :clap Just wish that message would get to our over breeding CHAV population!!!! :dabone :dabone :dabone

They were going to fit a watch to it but thought better of it after thinking about removing the throtle hand to look at the time.
