I've had a set of HG Cruise Jacket and trousers for 2 or 3 years and they've been great. Washed them the other day, and a receipt in one of the jacket waterproof pockets that I missed came out of the machine dry. So goes to show just how good Goretex is.

I find it comfortable, as cool as any jacket is going to be once I open the vents, and love the little things about it, like the small "key" pocket on the back of the left arm.

I'd have not hesitation recommending them. One of the zips "burst" not long after buying them, and they lent me a gortex replacement while fixing them. Top service. Now you could argue that they should have specified better zips so it's HG's fault, or you could say it was YKK's (or who evers) fault for a dodgy zip. Personally I don't blame HG.

cheers
