Purchased a Voyager 111 suit last year and after eight months of mainly weekend use it spung a leek around the crutch plus the trouser pockets are fraying badly and on the jacket one seem is splitting. have to day spocked to HG and there best offer is a replacement set of trousers I suggested if i could i would like to move up to their top of the range Gortex suit costing some £530 which my old suit plus £280 guest what the answer was! sorry sir not intrested NOW chaps i'am i being unreasonable or are they?

PS any suggestion for a good non leaking suit with armour??????

J&S have them on sale at the mo, £199 for the jacket. Not sure about the trousers.

Got both myself. Excellent piece of kit. Looks bullet proof. Really well made. Very pleased with them. Not leaked one bit.

5yr guarantee, Gortex, scotchlife reflective tape, cordura dupont material, CE removeble armour, machine washable, toasty warm (I'm a racing snake) yada-yada-yada. Need I go on?

At £199, gotta be in the same price range as the Hein Gericke. I looked at both and went for the Rukka when I saw it was only a bit more, there must be hardly any price difference now?

Ooh, and the liners in the trousers zip in at waist and ankle, so no knackering the poppers putting them on.....................The HG stuff I tried on was already bust.

Jacket liner zips in and buttons at sleeves.

HG have a one year guarantee (like all goods bought in the UK), I had a similar problem with the trousers and they were changed without question. If the jacket seem is coming apart that should also be covered....especially as it also might leak or get worse within the 12 month guarantee period!!!!!!!!!!!

having said all that, the guarantee is for 'normal' use/mileage so if you are a courier for example then one months ude may equate to Mr Average's 12 month usage.

adrian as i said i only use the suit for weekend riding as i almost live in the car all week! I agree with you, you would of though there would be no problem exchanging them or upgrading as it's more money in there till but no, its exchange trousers as they leak and repair jacket? mind you as its faulty it's not fit for it,s pupose?Iwill speak to them once more nicely THEN i'll kick them in the bollocks!
