Local dealer received delivery of HG's latest Tuareg jacket and trousers this morning, latest goretex lining and back to the more "traditional" styles after the last effort in taupe. :augie

Does this one have the 'bonded' goretex Thunder - or is it still a drop lining?

I was put off the last one because it had so many linings that I couldn't easily get my arm in the sleeve!

Hope it doesn't rain whilst your out in the summer.

Or do you carry the linings everywhere you go :aidan

Nick brought their similar one just a few wks ago, the one with more orange on it but sadly wont be needing it now :blast
Will we see you modellin it then Roger :D Nice house btw :thumb

Goretx is in the lining as before, seems this is the preferred format of those cunning Germans for this type of gear. :blast

What I will say is it's easy to get on and off with the lining fitted and the armour can now be removed through zips to the outside of the suit making it easy to prepare for the odd run through the washing machine. :augie

Thunder, almost bought the suit myself, really like the look of it and like the HG stuff, but what really put me off was that the Gore Tex lining seemed to be attached to the thermal lining, which made me think that if I wanted to be dry I would have to be hot as well. Is that right. It seemed daft to me. Why they cant make the outer shell Gore Tex and keep the thermal lining removable.

Chris

It's the form for this type of gear and the same with the BMW Pro suit it's designed for really hot weather to provide maximum ventilation which a goretex liner would affect rather than the UK climate, same as the previous versions. :blast

Still really like it though. :aidan
