does anyone know a link to show the latest colours of this suit and whom would be cheapest for us upside down bastards to purchase off on ze web

TIA Steve :bounce1

The version currently in Gericke's UK stores is in a sort of mushroom / taupe colour, however on their website it is listed as black but with no picture.

The new range is due for release any day now so maybe more information and pictures will be out soon as well.

Whilst it's true to say they've not exactly flown out the door, they look well made and you wont spot a rider wearing one every day-especially down under
Not sure how you'd get hold of one though,e-mail Gericke and ask them-Good Luck :thumb

I suppose I shouldn't do this but....

I can confirm that it is very comfortable, very warm (almost don't need to turn on my Gerbing liner at near freezing with the Gortex liner in), dunno how cool it will be in the summer with everything open yet, and the armor seems well built.

If I had any reservations about quality, it would be that some of the zippers seem slightly smaller than I'd expect... but HG have this great warantee, and the thing was half the cost of the BMW kit (which also fades and wears out)...

Looks a bit "flash" but gets the job done IMHO. :thumb

Went to my local HG store last year with an intention to buy a set of the new Tuareg gear but to be perfectly honest I hated it and ended up buying the Cruise jacket & trousers instead. Apart from the colour (yuk!) I also wasn't keen on the zip-in Gortex liner (I know a lot of gear is like this nowadays and it was this that put me off the BMW gear) whereas the Cruise has it sewn-in.
Very warm & dry, love it.

The Black & White version being modelled by Mike O is no longer available new, they do turn up on fleabay from time to time, assuming you know what sizes you want, postage might be a killer though

I look at the zip-in as "winterizing". I carry a BMW rain-suit in the back, and I expect that the Goretex will stay at home once the weather warms up.

I won't know till it does get warm but I'm hoping that my very warm suit (just did 200kms today at minus 4 degrees, in total comfort. (Gerbing jacket liner was turned on at 1/3rd), will become a comfortable, cool enough for hot sunny days, suit.

I wouldn't really want to ride through heavy rain with all that sued on the outside anyways...

Al... (it does look a tad :ymca, I agree, but it does seem to do the job)

I have a Tuareg jacket, and I love the flexibility of being able to take liner out if its a really hot day. Having the liner in on a scorcher would be a nightmare. :eek I don't tend to zip my liner in though (which saves a minute or so), and just wear it like a fleece under the jacket.

Personal taste I know, but why change one of the most popular suits you make? :nenau And if you were going to change - why change it to brown? If it works - leave it alone. :thumb

HG have just lent me a pair of the trousers while my voyager pants are away for a new zip. Given the choice they're nowhere as good as the voyager, but hey that's just my opinion.
